Christine Perone began her introduction to Pilates began 15 years ago when she injured herself so severely, during a performance, she required back surgery with her doctors telling her she would never dance again.

Christine refused to accept this diagnosis and plunged head first into rehabilitation through Pilates. As a result she was dancing professionally again after only one year. The respect and gratitude she gained from Pilates led her to go from believer to teacher.

Certified in 2005 in Los Angeles in classical Pilates from a Romana based teacher, Christine enjoys helping clients by teaching Pilates in Manhattan with a heavy emphasis on physical therapy while sharing her valuable knowledge gained in her own personal recovery.
Christine is excited to be teaching at the original Pilates studio where it all began!
